Ueyakato Landscape Wins the Japanese Institute of Landscape Architecture Encouragement Award

At the 2019 Japanese Institute of Landscape Architecture, Ueyakato Landscape gardener Tomio Sakaue won the Japanese Institute of Landscape Architecture Encouragement Award for “Annual Maintenance Techniques of Existing Plants of Murin-an Garden as a National Place of Scenic Beauty.” This award is given to those who have contributed to the advancement of the field of landscape studies and are recognized to have great future potential.
