As an activity sponsored by the Kyoto Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ueyakato Landscape’s Gardening Division and Environmental Culture Planning Division gave an environmental learning class at Kyoto Kinrin Elementary School 3.
With Hiromu Saito of our company’s Gardening Division acting as lecturer, Kana Goto of our Environmental Culture Planning Division had all 38 of our fourth-grade learners sketch two similar leaves and observe their characteristics. We also held a quiz contest using the school’s trees and explained the work and tools of the Japanese gardener.
