As their final extracurricular activity, sixth graders from Kyoto’s Meitoku Elementary School started a rainy and windy morning by visiting National Historic Site “The Former Retreat of Tomomi Iwakura,” which Ueyakato Landscape manages and operates as its designated management company.
They eagerly asked us lots of questions using what they had learned about Iwakura Tomomi from social science and from learning about their local neighborhood. The result was an extremely lively extracurricular learning activity.
