The Former Retreat of Tomomi Iwakura was featured in an article of the Yomiuri Shimbun "Memory of Ishin - The Great Command of the Restoration of the 1868 Restoration of Imperial Rule." It is featured article for Meiji Restoration 150 year anniversary next year and described Iwakura's active involvement and his retreat as one of the most significant scenes during the restoration. The retreat was visited by the notables such as Ryoma Sakamoto, Shintaro Nakaoka, Toshimichi Okubo and played the important role as the transition of the periods. The beautiful picture of autumn leaves of the Iwakura Retreat was also posted.
