On March 22, Kyoto Prefecture held an awards ceremony for 26 “Excellent Technicians in Kyoto Prefecture.”
This year, Ueyakato Landscape Executive Director Yoshiki Kato was selected as a landscaper.
The aim of this program is to assist technicians by improving and raising social esteem for occupational skills.
Awardees are given the title “Contemporary Master Craftsman of Kyoto Prefecture” to facilitate their transmission of skills and the fostering of human talent.
