Ueyakato Landscape gardener Shigeyoshi Takemura gave a lecture entitled “Temples and Gardens” for a class in Osaka Gakuin University Junior College’s Business Management curriculum. The lecture covered the work of caring for a temple garden, the details of a Japanese garden, and the positioning of cultural properties. We hope these young students found the lecture to be a useful reference point in becoming familiar with Japanese gardens.
