Ueyakato Landscape head curator Nobuhiro Shigeoka gave a lecture at Rakuyo General High School entitled “The Job of a Curator Working at a Cultural Property” for a special class on learning from people who work in Kyoto held as part of the school's freshman curriculum, “Industrial Society and Human Beings.”
He explained to students the daily work a curator does in easy-to-understand terms. He also added some stories of his own experience as a reference point for students contemplating their own pathway in life, resulting in a convivial class for all.
