Ueyakato Landscape gardeners Siale Pasa and Yu Miyazaki and Minami Asada of our Environmental Culture Planning Division cooperated in “Caring for Shogunzuka Mound's Forest,” a project sponsored by the Kyoto Traditional Culture Forest Promotion Council.
Under the direction of instructor Ken’ichi Takada, they worked together with Kyoto citizens to perform improvement cutting on evergreens for a space where forest visitors can take a break and walk along the forest path with peace of mind.
