The Shinshu Otani sect (Higashi Hongan-ji Temple) of Buddhism, whom our company serves as their dedicated gardening company, has worked with Ueyakato Landscape and four other institutions to launch the “Ohigashi-san Monzen Mirai Project,” a project for rediscovering the area in front of Higashi Hongan-ji Temple and building up the region as a space for sharing different cultures and values between people.

Takako Wada of our company’s Environmental Culture Planning Division and the Gardening Division’s Yosuke Ota and Satoshi Washida, who are the head gardeners for Higashi Hongan-ji Temple and Shosei-en Garden, participated in the project to communicate Shosei-en’s appeal.

From autumn until winter, we’re planning illuminated events and test tours at Shosei-en Garden as well as different events and tours around the Higashi Hongan-ji Temple area.
